Nitro is a Transformer from the Last Bot Standing portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Look at him! He's just a little guy! I hope nothing bad happens to him.

Nitro is a Transformer, and also a visitor to the planet of Donnokt, located somewhere at the end of time and space. Little is known about the poor guy, apart from the fact that he's looking for his kin and a new home. From a distance he also sports a rather familiar silhouette.

Last Bot Standing

Oh sweet god! Look what they've done to my boy!

In the far future, long after the end of the Great War between the Autobots and Decepticons had left the universe drained of energon, Nitro fell under the command of ex-Decepticon Steeljaw. To survive, Steeljaw's forces reconfigured themselves to run on biofuel, a substance generated by the farming of organic matter. The group eventually set its sights on the planet Donnokt, Last Bot Standing #2 with Nitro being sent ahead from their previous port as a scout. Last Bot Standing #4 Starved of fuel when he emerged on this new world, Nitro Last Bot Standing #2 landed in one of the planet's deserts, leaking biofuel.

Disoriented, Nitro eventually made his way to the town of Fembrance, his arrival startling the barely steam-age natives. As he impassively scanned the area, one of the local carts revealed itself to be another Cybertronian, Rodimus.

Shocked to see one of his kin, Nitro asked Rodimus to identify himself only to be attacked. He managed to throw off his attacker, though he quickly began begging his kinsman to wake up, asking for his name and thanking him for finding a new home for their kind. Enraged at the words, Rodimus flipped Nitro, declaring Donnokt was not for them, and began beating him to death despite his pleas for mercy. After a grim warning that the visitor could not be here, Rodimus tore the unfortunate Cybertronian's head off, declaring that he had no kin.

After inspecting the leaking remains, Rodimus took his leave, telling the people of Fembrance not to follow him, tossing Nitro's severed head over his shoulder. Last Bot Standing #1

When the rest of Steeljaw's party landed, they picked up the transponder of Nitro's pod, Riotgear and Override being sent to look for him. At the crash site, two natives pointed them in the direction of Fembrance. Last Bot Standing #2 Too energy starved to activate the totality of their sensors, the two failed to detect Nitro's nearby remains, Last Bot Standing #3 instead finding a bound Rodimus who they brought back to Steeljaw, reporting that there was no sign of Nitro. When Steeljaw led his force to Fembrance to harvest the organics, his and Sharpclaw's enhanced olfactory sensors allowed them to find Nitro's remains. Last Bot Standing #3
