Nobuyoshi Habara
Nobuyoshi Habara (羽原 信義 Habara Nobuyoshi, born June 21, 1963) is a Japanese character designer, animation director and artist known for his work on mecha-related anime productions. He's known for being the character designer of Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos, and directing the Space Battleship Yamato 2202 films. He worked as an animator on the first two seasons of the The Generation 1 Transformers cartoon for Ashi Productions, including the second title sequence. One way to spot his work is his depiction of the human characters, who possess the smaller eyes and more exaggerated, rounded bangs of his usual art style.
