The Noisemazes Mass Production Type Version are agents of Planet X from the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
Cum on feel the Noize! Girls, rock yer boyz!

The grunts of the massive Planet X armies, the Noisemaze Mass Production Type Version (ノイズメイズ量産型バージョン Noizumeizu Ryōsan Gata Bājon) soldiers swarm other worlds by the thousands, subjugating the populace and preparing the planets for conquest and consumption. It is unknown if they are merely similarly-colored individuals, or mindless drone armies like the Laserbeak-style drones that accompanied them into battle.

Cybertron cartoon

[edit]

Eons ago, the armies of Planet X moved across the cosmos, consuming world after world. However, that march stopped when they reached Gigantion the Giant Planet. Their massive forces were torn apart by the denizens of Gigantion, and seemingly whatever was left was obliterated in the explosion that destroyed Planet X itself. Challenge

While exploring the lower levels of Gigantion, Lori, Override, and Wing Saber discovered an ancient holographic recording that showed the original invasion of Gigantion by the mass-produced Planet X warriors. Ambush

Beast Wars: Uprising

[edit]

The Noisemaze production-type tactical bombers were Quintesson Terrorbot surplus on 24th century Cybertron. When the Grand Uprising kicked off, they were dusted off as a more cost-effective replacement for the Maximal Flying Corps.

Galaxy Force

[edit]
The Devil Gigatron to Noisemaze's Gigatron!
  • Noisemaze Ryōsan Gata Version (DVD pack-in, June 21, 2006)
    • Accessories: Left & right wing-swords, Planet X Cyber Key
Available only with the thirteenth, final volume of the Galaxy Force DVD series in Japan, Noisemaze Ryōsan Gata Version is a redeco of Cybertron Sideways/Galaxy Force Noisemaze. It transforms into an alien spacefighter with Cyber Key-activated pop-out blades and faction-sigil-switching built into its battle shield. His wings can also detach from his ankles and be used as blades, with both pegging into either his hands, either with one blade in each hand, or with both blades pegging into the top and bottom of a single hand, forming a double-bladed weapon. The toy comes with a Planet X-style Cyber Key, which inexplicably has Sideways's Hasbro key code stamped on the back. The toy uses the Hasbro mold with the trimmed horns rather than the Takara mold.
The toy is not an exact match for the show-model's color layout, but all things considered, close enough.
Despite being a "mass numbers" character in the fiction like the Scrapmetal, the Noisemaze Ryōsan Gata Version's price due to being packaged with a DVD (Amazon Japan listed it at 7644 yen, roughly $66 USD at the time of release before shipping) makes it largely unfeasible for army-building.
This mold was also used to make Universe Ratbat, and BotCon 2009 Timelines Scourge and the Sweeps. The Sweeps were later repurposed as Shattered Glass Scourge.

Notes

[edit]
"You got your orange in my silver!"
"You got your gold in my black!"
  • The Noisemaze Mass Production Type Version color scheme appears to be based on an earlier Hasbro Sideways color study. This is not the first time something like this happened in the Cybertron series, although it usually happened in reverse—Swerve's color scheme was inspired by a Gonzo color mock-up for the Clocker CGI model, while Galaxy Force Vector Prime's coloration arose from a similar early CGI mock-up.
