Previous interactions between the Transformers and Occulted Dremden had ended poorly for the mechanoids, with the latter adopting a policy that discouraged interaction between their people and the Dremden. Nonetheless, further research into their culture was encouraged with incentive programs existing to those who could make sense of their civilization. Despite this attitude, when the Occulted Dremden had come into contact with the Thraal, they agreed for Cybertron to act as a mediator. Notes

• Transformers #13 mentions Sixshot freeing hostages from a fortified asteroid in the Dremden system during the Age of Expansion. Presumably this is the home system of the Occulted Dremden.
