When Megatron prepared the space bridge to transport the AllSpark to Cybertron, Offroad was among the Decepticon soldiers trying to defeat the Autobots in a canyon. Offroad fought alongside his master when the Decepticon goons were defeated. Regardless, Offroad was defeated by Optimus Prime's crew.

However, when Megatron escaped to Cybertron using the space bridge, the high-ranking Decepticon soldier destroyed the machine with his blaster, preventing the Autobots from chasing Megatron to their homeworld. Offroad briefly expressed satisfaction at completing his mission before collapsing.

Offroad later tried to protect Shockwave's laboratory on Cybertron alongside Roadtrap, but was beaten down by the Autobots again. Transformers: Battlegrounds

  • Offroad's design is a stylized version of his Generation 1 counterpart's Combiner Wars toy. He is also one of three named Decepticons to use the Decepticon Brawler body-type.
    • Offroad's color scheme is also used for generic enemies.
