Omega Bunker

The Omega Bunker is an ancient, abandoned temple on the volatile planet Ki-Aleta, serving as the hiding place for the omniscient artifact known as the Magnificence. It is decorated with what appears to be ordinary statues, but are in actuality Omega Guardians, the automated guards of the bunker.

2005 IDW continuity

Hot Rod led a small team of Autobots to Ki-Aleta in order to steal the Magnificence and keep it out of Decepticon hands. While Gizmo, Backbeat and Dealer distracted the Omega Guardians with holograms, Hot Rod and Download drilled into the inner reaches of the Omega Bunker and obtained the Magnificence. Unfortunately, Dealer was actually a Decepticon spy, and sabotage from his side led to the deaths of most of the unit. Spotlight: Hot Rod Before escaping with his life, Hot Rod hid the Magnificence elsewhere on Ki-Aleta. Years later, he and Dealer returned to the planet to retrieve it, briefly stopping by the Omega Bunker on the way. Spotlight: Doubledealer
