Pablos Marcos (born March 31, 1937 in Laran, Chincha Alta, Peru) is a comic artist. Marcos began his career drawing caricatures for newspaper La Prensa and also drew newspaper strips including James Bond 007 and Benito Puna. In the early 70s, he moved to the United States and broke into the US comics industry. He began working at Marvel Comics when Sol Brodsky, whom he had been working for at Skywald, returned to working there. He became one of the popular artists of the time, with a prolific amount of work at Marvel and D.C. During the 80s, he and his daughter Judith collaborated on a number of art projects, including The Savage Sword Of Conan for Marvel Comics and numerous illustrations for books. Among other things, they illustrated the Transformers Kid Stuff storybooks. Marcos has since continued to work in the field of comic art as well as other forms of illustration.
