Phil Brodaker is Ryan O'Brien's partner in the Las Vegas Police Department. A real man's man, 6'2", former linebacker, former marine, and a veteran of 3 all-male-dance-reviews before joining the force.

Phil has to pay to support 3 kids, so he's a little less straight-and-narrow than Ryan when money is involved.

Phil was thrilled with the $10,000 bonus the Decepticons paid out to every police officer, much to Ryan's irritation.

Phil was later chosen to test some of the first applications of Decepticon technology in the field; he was given a pair of golden wristbands that could produce a protective forcefield in response to a verbal command. After using them to defeat an augmented maniac at the Mirage casino, Phil heartily endorsed their new Decepticon overlords friends.

Phil was knocked unconscious during a gang raid, and Ryan discovered that the wristbands had protective programming, burrowing tendrils into Phil's wrists to prevent their unauthorized removal. Ravage saved them instead. Hardwired
