- Snaptrap's toy's packaging bio states that he is "armed with two rapid-fire, retractable, sonic-shell cannons, 8 turreted photon beam ports, semi-automatic atom-smasher rifle, incendiary sword", despite the toy lacking a turret nor any molded details that might suggest it possessed eight photon beam ports. Given its inclusion in Snaptrap's bio as well as his Marvel Universe profile (and Transformers AtoZ profile in the UK Transformers Annual 1989) it seems that the whole turret idea was dropped relatively late in production. When Snaptrap appeared in the Marvel comic stories themselves, the turret was missing from his character model.
