Piercer

Piercer is a Mini-Con from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Piercers have reached celebrity status in the gladiatorial ring, and it has turned them into pompous braggarts. Though opponents have attempted to learn to counteract them, none have succeeded.

The Mini-Cons were all brought to Earth from another dimension by Micronus Prime and could be found by humans in the Guardian Program equipped with an Autobot Scanner modified with Decepticon technology. Once located and recruited by paying them Energon, Piercers could be partnered with Autobots to give them new abilities. Transformers: Heavy Metal

  • Abilities granted by Piercer include:
    • Spear — Deal 200 damage. Ignores armor. — Costs 3, higher ranks add 50 damage per rank.
    • Overload — On your opponent's next upkeep, they take Corrode damage equal to 1 x their armor. Scrap this ability. — Costs 2, higher ranks add .3 to the multiplier.
    • Shatter — Destroy 200 armor. Deal 200 damage. — Costs 2, higher ranks add 50 to both values.
