The Primal Council became the ruling government body of Cybertron following the death of Optimus Prime, named in his honor.

[edit]Following the death of Optimus Prime, the surviving members of the Autobot High Council rebranded themselves as the Primal Council, vowing to finish what their fallen leader had started. When Megatron and the Decepticons attacked the Primal Council's citadel at Nova Plenum, the Council members enacted their contingency plan and merged together to form the combiner Magnaboss, clashing with the Decepticon combiner Predaking.
