In this reality, an Autobot plan to exile the Decepticons to space was thwarted when Megatron discovered the Cybertronian Empire. During the ensuing war against the Swarm, one of the casualties was Rumble's brother Frenzy, who sacrificed himself to protect Autobot and Decepticon alike from the Swarm. This caused Rumble to become even more anti-social than he already was. Some time later, Unicron abducted Rumble to fight in the Cauldron; Rumble possibly took comfort in the fact that Jhiaxus, the individual most responsible for Frenzy's death, was abducted as well and forcibly reformatted.
