All hope is lost for anyone paralyzed by Seawing's tried-and-true venom lasers, but Piranacon isn't satisfied with just making his prey helpless. For some reason, he'd much rather have Seawing transform into a dual proton blaster in Targetmaster mode, and pump you full of super-charged protons. How Seawing's poisonous venom lasers turn into a gun that shoots particles at you is anyone's guess, but it's not without precedence.

- The Transformers Seawing could combine with his accessories to form a dual proton blaster, according to his packaging bio. This toy was also available in a Piranacon giftset. The mold was redecoed and released without accessories as Terrormander in 1998 as part of Japan's Beast Wars II toyline and was further redecoed to make Timelines Seawing in 2008, whose bio changed up his Targetmaster mode to a Dual-Photo Cannon.

[edit]- Seawing's AtoZ profile in the Marvel UK 1989 Transformers annual completely omits any mention of his third mode for some reason, instead describing it as a weapon he carries in robot mode.
- Seawing's Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye profile upgrades his Targetmaster mode to a dual proton cannon.
