Pythona

Pythona is a member of Cobra-La from the Generation 1 continuity family.

So "scalies" are like "furries" but they're attracted to reptiles, right?

A high-ranking member of the Cobra-La race, Pythona is part snake, part woman, and all disgusting. She likes to take humans as "pets" for her own amusement, at least until they die from old age. Of all her "pets", she finds Joe Colton the most intriguing.

G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers

In 1978, Pythona stopped Bludgeon from killing all of the Adventure Team when they trespassed on Cobra-La territory, so that she could use Joe Colton and Chok-Pa as her new pets. Black Horizon, Part 1 of 2

Some 25 years later, Pythona welcomed Doctor Mindbender into Cobra-La's ranks. G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers II #4

After Mindbender managed to activate the Cobra-La beacon to summon Unicron, Pythona taunted the imprisoned Joe Colton that his race would soon be destroyed. Sadly, her pet wouldn't even talk back to her, so she left to thank Destro for helping Cobra-La with a recent scheme. After learning that a metal man called "Prime" and a human named after a bird were fighting their way into Cobra-La, Pythona decided to share the news with Colton. In order to stop the attackers, Pythona used her blood to reawaken Nemesis Enforcer. She later stood next to Golobulus as he held a victory speech to the residents of Cobra-La, but was interrupted by an attack from Optimus Prime, Hawk and an escaped Joe Colton. As Colton got his rear handed to him by Nemesis Enforcer, Pythona told him that she regretted that it had to end like this, after she had worked to keep him alive for so long. Her former pet responded by saying that he knew Pythona had some good in her—after all, she had saved him and Chok-Pa when she could've just let them die, and she had to know deep inside that letting Unicron destroy humanity was wrong. Pythona denied this, claiming she did not feel compassion for Colton, but rather respect for how he had withstood her attempts to crush his spirits during all those years. She then stabbed Nemesis Enforcer in the back, killing him before he could finish off Colton.

Following Cobra-La's defeat at the hands of G.I. Joe, Pythona was arrested and set to be put on trial for crimes against humanity. She gave one last look at Joe Colton, who said to himself that she probably didn't deserve everything that was coming to her. Black Horizon, Part 2 of 2

Transformers vs. G.I. Joe

When Billy brought a bloodied and defeated Snake-Eyes to Silent Castle as a gift for Cobra Commander, Pythona was among those present, rejoicing over the ninja's defeat. But Snake-Eyes sprang back up, ready to fight, and Pythona took up arms against him. Pax Megatronus

When Golobulus allowed the Commander to travel beyond Cobra-La, Pythona awoke the Nemesis Enforcer to keep an eye on him, applying a disguise to her friend. Cobra Commander #2
