Arc is an Autobot Mini-Con from the Prime portion of the Aligned continuity family.
Of course she's pink. Why wouldn't she be?

Arc (アルク Aruku, meant to be pronounced as a French "Aruc") is Arcee's Arms Micron partner. She's very headstrong and, well, not exactly nice, often using threats to get what she wants. She has dreams of someday achieving pop-idol status.

Prime cartoon

Arc only appears as an actual character in the Arms Micron Theater segments of the Japanese broadcast of Prime. Technically, she appears in the main cartoon any time Arcee uses her arm-blade(s), but we're not going to bother with that and just focus on her individual exploits.

Arc hosted a talkshow called "Arc's Room", guested by the Dark Energon-infected R.A. and B.B., who thought their new black color schemes made them look cool and fashionable. She only laughed, saying that while black is fashionable, it didn't suit them. Infiltration Transformation! Battleship Nemesis When B.H. was being chased by Scraplets, Arc rather unhelpfully suggested that the running would do him some good so he could lose weight. Eventually she and C.L. decided to combine into a combo weapon to help B.H., but she ended up blade-end into C.L.'s gunbarrel, forming nothing of any use whatsoever. Freezing Transformation!? Terror of the Minicons Once free of the Scraplets, B.H. wanted to get stronger, so he, Arc and C.L. combined to form the Galaxy Launcher Super Combo Weapon. In their excitement, they accidentally blew a hole in the studio. Secret Sword Transformation! Introducing Wheeljack

Arc put on a pair of silly heart-shaped sunglasses as part of the Microns' tenth-episode celebrations. All-Out Assault Transformation! The Pair of Assassins When Zamu and Gura entered the studio, O.P. kinda got jerkass on them, ranting and turning black as if infected with Dark Energon. Arc wondered out loud just what was in his drink. Acceleration Transformation! Speed Match! She joined R.A. and B.B. in preparing for a big announcement... when the studio walls fell away and revealed the towering Gari Robo-kun, which terrified them all because ye gods is that thing scary. Mystery Insect Transformation! Forest of the Spider Woman!

While announcing her intention to become the one-Micron idol group "ARK1", Arc was ambushed by Gora II's Decepticon Microns. She wasn't shaken in the least, though, combining on the spot with O.P., B.B., R.A., B.H., C.L., and, uh, a second O.P to form a mess of weapons she called "Fire Galaxy Super God Star Arc". The Decepticons were quick to make their escape. Phantom Transformation! Skyquake Returns Gora II soon returned to challenge her again, this time with the condition that she marry him if he won. Arc seemingly agreed, but was unimpressed when he formed the Planet Bowgun to use against her, calling it unoriginal. He proceeded to make up a bunch of different combinations in an attempt to impress her, but she shot down each and every one until he combined with so many Microns that they ended up in a confused pile on the floor, at which point B.B. realized she was just messing with him. Strategy Transformation! Unravel the Sinister Thread! During the twentieth-episode celebrations, Arc wore a different set of glasses. Duel Transformation! Quell Cliffjumper's Regrets

After a fun day of playing with their owners' human friends, Arc shocked the other Microns by revealing she'd chosen a ride with Fowler on his jet over spending time with Jack and Arcee. One-Shot Transformation! Optimus Prime VS Megatron When a mysterious box was found in the Arms Microns' studio, a curious Arc was all for opening it up, but was opposed by O.P. She eventually lost her patience with his warnings and combined with C.L. and B.H. to threaten him into submission. Giant God Transformation! The Advance of Gaia Unicron The box turned out to contain the Matrix, which turned R.A. into Shining R.A. and combined with him to form the Matrix Saber, to the surprise of Arc and the others present. Rivals Transformation! Birth of the Strongest Combination

When Ida mentioned she wanted to be like Arc someday, C.L. and B.B. protested that she was not a good role model. Hopeful Transformation! Aim for Planet Cybertron O.P. later tried to use a wind-up copy of himself to fool his friends into thinking he was amnesiac, but Arc and the others caught on and turned the prank around on him by pretending not to care. Activated Transformation! The Key to Vector Sigma Once B.B. got out and about again after a period of being stuck in Bumblebee's arm, Arc and the others combined with him in celebration. Brave Transformation! The Surgeon's Decision She was among the Arms Microns who gathered in a classroom when Zamu had to say goodbye to them. Turbulent Transformation! Insect Battle During a game of combination-rock paper scissors, Arc cheated by waiting a second to confirm B.B. and R.A. played scissors before combining with B.H. to play rock. When B.B. called her out on it, she challenged him to make something of it, causing him to throw a tantrum and leave for another show. Mission Transformation! Fowler's Investigation Files

Arc and a mysterious silver copy of her called Arc S were among the seven Arms Microns who traveled to the Arms Micron Dojo to find the secret to weapon-linking, and once they learned there was no secret to it beyond combining, merged into the Samurai Sword Mode. Sou then asked Arc S who she was, but she only responded by asking him the same question. Recovery Transformation! Battle in the Metropolis Underground While planning the construction of Optimus Maximus, O.P. and B.B. imagined various Microns utilizing its base mode, including Arc. Freezing Transformation! Obtain the Invincible Body! Arc was later lamenting that two shows she wanted to watch were airing at the same time, inadvertently inspiring O.P.'s latest combination. Toxic Flame Transformation! Hardshell, King of the Insects During a snowball fight with the other Microns, Arc used her weapon mode to cut up the snowballs B.B. fired at her. Revenge Transformation! The Brave Chase

Following the first use of the Matrix Saber in combat, Arc admitted that it was indeed beautiful even if Shining R.A. was being incredibly smug about it. Flash Transformation! Unleashed! The Legendary Sword Together with O.P., Arc hosted the awards ceremony for a viewer-based Arms Micron popularity contest that she was certain she'd win, being the idol of the Microns. When it turned out she only got in 10th place, the winner being Ida, she was outraged and accused O.P. of rigging the votes. Sky Dance Transformation! The Suicidal Skydive For the Arms Micron Theater finale, all the Microns got together to say goodbye to their viewers. R.A. tried to cheer B.B. up by saying they'd be back someday, and Arc added "only if the toys sell", earning her a reprimand from O.P. who warned her not to talk about that. Ultimate Transformation! Fight! Transformers

Part of the third wave of TakaraTomy Prime toys, Arc transforms from a humanoid robot into an over-sized version of Arcee's in-show blades. She has numerous 5 mm posts and holes that allow her to combine with other Arms Microns to form any number of "Combo Weapons" and "Super Combo Weapons".
She was only available packed in with the Deluxe Arcee toy, coming out of the package as a bunch of unpainted parts on runners, like a model kit. Her extra deco is provided by customer-applied foil stickers on a sheet he shares with Arcee.

Arc S(ilver) is a silver (duh) version of Arc, part of the fourth and final wave of single-packed "AMW" Arms Micron kits. She comes in an individual sealed bag, with her own sticker sheet. These stickers are different from her normal releases, with new colors and patterns, plus she does not have stickers for her leg-blades anymore.
Bizarrely, her cardback photo shows her weapon mode being used by Airachnid.

  • Arc's name is pronounced as it would be in French, with a guttural R, and not as the English word "arc" (written in Japanese as アーク āku).
  • In her first Arms Micron Theater appearance, her eyes were uncolored. By the second appearance, she got the Autobot-blue eyes the other CG models got.
