Rear Axle are a bunch of refugees from the '80s a cheesy glam-rock band, who play a lot of songs about fighting for justice and never giving up. What the band probably doesn't know is that an extraterrestrial life-form is one of their biggest fans.

Bumblebee first learned about the band during his first trip to Earth, and became one of their most devoted fans. Denny Clay was also an aficionado of the band.

During his second mission on Earth, Bumblebee headed to the Crown City Rumbledome, where the band was giving a concert, as part of a stakeout. He and Russell Clay wound up facing off against Bisk, who had crashed the same concert to try and steal a soundboard. The two Cybertronians wound up brawling on stage in front of Rear Axle, who believed that the combatants were just humans in elaborate costumes.
