The heroic Rebel Alliance,<ref name="deathstar">Star Wars Transformers Darth Vader Death Star packaging</ref> commonly referred to as just "the Rebels", is a faction driving an organized rebellion against the Empire.<ref>Star Wars Transformers Darth Vader TIE Advanced Fighter packaging</ref> They have a base called Echo Base<ref>Star Wars Transformers Luke Skywalker Snowspeeder packaging</ref> and are numerous enough to have their own fleet of starfighters.<ref name="deathstar"/>

Known Rebels include Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and R2-D2.
