Recyclon

The Recyclons are a breed of non-Cybertronian transforming robots created by the Harvest Lords of Sigrath. They are tasked with searching the galaxy for raw or waste materials to reclaim and process into energon for their Lords in a far-reaching "clean up the universe" mission...even if that material happens to have native life forms living on it, sentient or no.
Each team of Recyclons is capable of combining to form a Prime Processing Unit to convert matter into energon, though the team leader remains in an independent robot mode to operate the machine.

Fiction

[edit]While scouring the universe for junk aboard the starship Reclamation, Salvage's team of Recyclons found the fabled Planet of Junk and decided to recycle it. After landing on the planet and forming the Prime Processing Unit, the Recyclons came under attack from the native Junkions and were driven back into space.
The Recyclons didn't give up, and after taking out the Junkions' leader, they tried to use the Prime Processing Unit from space instead. The Junkions retaliated by firing a tractor beam at the Reclamation and slamming it into their planet, where the Prime Processing Unit overloaded and blew up. Most the crew was killed, and any survivors were soon finished off by the Junkions. Collect and Save
TransTech
[edit]The Transcendent Technomorphs of Nexus 208.0 Epsilon maintained an observation post to monitor their universe's Skriix, a species which possessed the capability for transdimensional travel. One of the unmanned outpost's electro-cell banks was rendered non-functional after a Recyclon incursion into Skriix space resulted in a brief conflict that caused collateral damage to the outpost.
