The title "Jumbo Coloring & Activity Book" represents a series of four similar books released by Bendon that, in typical Bendon fashion, sport the same bar code number (suggesting that they were part of the same lot) as well as the same title. However, to the right of the bar code is a small number and letter string that helps identify each individual volume.

The first book has a red and yellow cover and features Heatwave (dinosaur mode), Chase (dinosaur mode), Chief Charlie Burns, and Kade Burns on the front. The string on the back reads "27505-96-AA", and the rear cover features Blades (dinosaur mode) and Boulder (dinosaur mode). What might be a title page has an image of Chase and the title "Ready To Rescue!". A captioned coloring page in the book appears to be a direct reference to the episode Walk on the Wild Side.
