Mini-Con Profiles, 8 June 2007</ref> A member of the Stealth Augmentation Team, she is incredibly self-centered and difficult to catch. Road Rebel has loud-thumping speakers which can even knock a moderately sized Bulk off their feet when focused as a weapon; she can also increase the speed of any Bulk she is Powerlinxed to.<ref>Ask Vector Prime post on Facebook, 24 September 2015</ref>

  • Thyristor (Micron Booster, 2004)
  • Booster ID number: 2
Super Link Thyristor is a redeco of the "Corona" Sparkplug toy, transforming into a Cybertronic sports car.
She was sold only as part of the second Micron Booster assortment in Japan, in individual, blind-packed boxes so you did not know which Mini-Con you got until you opened the box and opaque black plastic bag inside. This assortment was sold primarily through convenience stores.
Thyristor uses the same tooling as Chrome and Synapse. The original version of the mold is used by Atlas and Rod.

Notes

[edit]
  • Originally released by Takara in 2004 in an assortment with no bios and thus no established characterization, Thyristor was later given an online Collectors' Club profile as the female "Road Rebel". Thyristor was the only one of her wave trio to receive an American bio prior to the Club's online bio system becoming defunct circa 2010, with Synapse's bio as "Impulse" falling through, and Chrome's status unknown. Nevertheless, a 2015 Ask Vector Prime Facebook post would expand upon this toy trio and establish them as a team.
