Robin Riggs (born December 6, 1961 in Bexhill-on-sea) is a British comic book artist more noted for his art than his lettering. Like many artists, Riggs grew up with the medium and, after studying graphic art, he worked towards his goal of breaking into the comics industry. He achieved that goal a few years later in 1983, after winning the lettering portion of the "[[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Marvel Try-out Book|{{#if:||Marvel Try-out Book}}]]". As a result, he gained work for Marvel Comics on their UK titles, and eventually their US titles as well. In 1998, he moved to New York to marry Elayne, whom he'd met online after she reviewed one of his comics. This husband and wife team founded Soulmate Productions, and Riggs also currently provides art for D.C. Comics.
