Rolt
- Rolt is a Transformer from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Rolt is in charge of the nucleon mining outpost on Messatine in the pre-war era. He does his job and faithfully follows the will of his betters, but he also has a degree of loyalty and compassion for the workers under his care.

[edit]Rolt met with Froid when he arrived on Messatine to examine the mental health of one of the miners, Megatron. He gave Froid what data they had on Megatron, attempting to defend his miner by praising his work ethic. He offered to arrange a meeting between the two, but this was turned down as the psychologist claimed the portfolio Rolt had gathered had been so comprehensive a meeting was unnecessary. Froid sadly noted Megatron had problems and had already determined a personality adjustment was in order, much to Rolt's surprise and quiet disbelief.
Elsewhere in the mine, while talking about how some of the dodgier staff were suspicious Megatron was still writing, Terminus said Rolt didn't have "the wit" to suspect it was going on.
When Rung showed up, Rolt was confused and repeated what Froid had said about him being the chief parapsychologist. Froid swiftly said the supervisor had been "mistaken" and Rolt went along with it. Births, Deaths, and Interventions
Notes
[edit]- Rolt is presented as more or less a decent chap, but as a supervisor he's also going to be responsible for the injured Terminus getting no medical care on cost grounds.
