Rufus Madison

Rufus Madison is a human from the Prime portion of the Aligned continuity family.

General Rufus Madison's nickname is "Mad Dog", which covers pretty much everything about his personality. He is a general in the United States military, and heads a highly advanced weapons development program aimed at developing robotic battle suits.

General Madison was extremely disappointed by the government's decision to shut down his division, but when Colonel Leech gave him news that a rival department operating in Jasper, Nevada appeared to have stolen their battle suit designs, Madison decided to show the competition what he was made of. He spread a false report that environmentalists had taken over the Deep Driller oil rig, and waited there along with Leech and four others in battle suits. When the rival department's battle suits turned up, Madison and his men engaged them in combat. Though four of Madison's men fell, the rival team suddenly surrendered. Victorious, Madison attempted to oblige the leader's wish to be extracted from his battle suit, only to find that the rival team weren't using battle suits but were instead autonomous robots. When the military arrived, Madison was taken away strapped to a trolly. Mad Dogs & Autobots
