Salani is a human from the Revenge of the Fallen portion of the live-action continuity family.

Salani is a soldier who served with both Sector Seven and NEST.

After the Autobots and most of the soldiers at the Nevada base left to escort the convey of dead Decepticons to the naval fleet in San Diego, Agent Simmons and Professor Vine argued over the merits of leaving the AllSpark shard left with them above ground, where it might be found by the Decepticons, or below ground, where it could reactivate Wreckage. Salani chimed in on Simmons's behalf, saying Sergeant Epps had told him about the Decepticons tracking abilities and had said that putting it underground would be a good idea at their current status. Vine complied, but insisted that they keep it in an isolation vault away from Wreckage's chamber. As soon as they passed the chamber, however, the shard flew out of Simmons's hands and struck Wreckage, reactivating him. Salani provided cover fire as Simmons and Vine fled for the surface elevator. Alliance #2

Salani survived the subsequent battle between Wreckage and Starscream, informing Agent Simmons of Vine's death. He then went looking for the AllSpark shard which Simmons mentioned and returned it to Optimus Prime when Simmons was removed from the site. Following Sector Seven's deactivation, Salani joined NEST, and he was training with the Autobots when they received word that Swindle and Dead End were in San Francisco. Alliance #3

Salani participated in the San Francisco mission, which saw the two Decepticons killed without any losses to NEST. However, Salani would be killed some months later when NEST moved against Jetstorm. Alliance #4
