Sam Register (born June 16, 1969) was in charge of Art Direction for the Transformers Generation 2 cartoon. What this precisely entailed is uncertain, as the show was mainly made out of clips from the original series, but presumably he interacted with the companies who created the original CGI sequences produced for the show.
Later, Register became the Vice President of the Cartoon Network, where he served for ten years developing series such as Ben 10, Teen Titans and Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi. Prior to leaving the CN for Warner Bros. Animation, he was an executive producer on Transformers Animated.
Notes
[edit]- At BotCon 2008, it was revealed that Register was the person who suggested Transformers Animated pattern some of its styling after The Mighty Orbots, as Register was a huge fan of that show.
- While at Warner Bros. Animation, Register was the producer on G.I. Joe: Resolute.
