[edit]Scientists working in the 1950s to create subspace wormholes using quantum crystals came up with this unique plan. Though a large amount of tracers were created, the project was abandoned when the cavern they had selected to house the underground sanctuary turned out to be unstable. The tracers were loaded into a drum and stored in the archives in the Hall of Inspiration, where they sat for the next five decades or so. After the tracers were accidentally released, they transported the town's human population to the incomplete sanctuary where the townspeople found they had no provisions and had to start digging their way out.
