Sawyer was on his way to Prime Fire Station when he heard an emergency call and diverted to help with a forest fire. He found a couple of campers and kept them safe until the rest of the team arrived, at which point he and the campers climbed aboard Blades. Returning to the fire station, Saywer was debriefed and officially joined the team as Blades's partner. Released in the first year of Rescue Bots toys, Sawyer Storm comes packaged with the "Rescue Winch" vehicle which he can both ride, or hold when the vehicle is in tool mode. He features articulation at his neck, shoulders, wrists, and hips. The included Rescue Winch vehicle has a pull out winch cable that retracts when the spare tire on its front is pushed.
