Scatterspike is a Decepticon from the 2019 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
& Knuckles

Scatterspike lives for the simple pleasures: knocking back energon cubes, doing donuts in the mud, and gambling on illegal bloodsports. She only joined the Decepticons because she knew that they'd give her the freedom to do whatever, whenever, no inconvenient questions asked—indeed, she positively delights in beating up Autobots who might otherwise try to put a stop to her fun. When duty calls, Scatterspike is unafraid to fight dirty; in particular, she excels at jumping unsuspecting foes and knocking them out before they even realize she's there.

In the past, Scatterspike enjoyed betting on skitter races. On Earth, Scatterspike and a number of other low-ranking Decepticons were recruited by Soundwave to keep an eye on Starscream's latest scheme and undermine his operation from within. After infiltrating his team, the group helped recover some Polarity gauntlets from an ancient Cybertronian shipwreck, and came into conflict with Rollbar after foiling Starscream's attempted doublecross. Notes

[edit]
  • IDW Scatterspike is based on her Robots in Disguise counterpart, but alternates between an approximation of her animation model and sharing Quillfire's design due to being drawn directly according to the toy in some appearances.
