Energon cartoon

[edit]

Scattor and the other component Mini-Cons of the Energon Saber escaped an attack on Mars City by Tidal Wave and Scorponok, fleeing the station's destruction. He then accompanied Optimus Prime's team when Alpha Q sent his forces to attack Plains City. The Mini-Cons formed into the Energon Saber, allowing Kicker to beat up some Terrorcons, and was then wielded by Ironhide against Scorponok. Megatron's Sword

Scattor was present at a briefing, during which Optimus Prime told his troops that they still had much to do, even now that the Energon Grid was in place to keep Earth safe from Decepticon attacks. Later, when Ironhide, Kicker, and Skyblast pursued Hot Shot to Mars after he left under mysterious circumstances, they brought along the Mini-cons in their Energon Saber configuration, just in case. Unfortunately, the blade proved rather ineffective against the aggressive Rodimus and his allies. Rodimus Friend or Foe?

When Alpha Q sent his Insecticons after Misha in a bit of "fun" to scare her, Kicker summoned the Energon Saber Mini-Cons to combine into their weapon form, so he could wield them and fend off the Terrorcons. Misha convinced Kicker not to react violently however, and he stayed his hand while Misha went ahead to meet with Alpha Q. Kicker's patience soon ran out when the Insecticons wouldn't allow him passage, and he forced his way forward, only to be stopped once more by Scorponok. Kicker parried with the Energon Saber against Scorponok until Misha managed to open a conversation with Alpha Q. Each One Fights...

Much later, Scattor and his team were seen running alongside Kicker, Ironhide, and several Omnicons, as they rushed to cut off Galvatron from a pool of super energon that was causing him to grow to enormous proportions. Scorponok blocked off their route, but thanks to Ironhide running interference, the rest of the group managed to reach the pool nonetheless. The three Mini-Cons combined into the Energon Saber to help cut the tethers of super energon connecting Galvatron to his power source. Destructive Power

Energon comic

[edit]

Scattor and the other Energon Saber Mini-Cons waited with Kicker Jones in the lower levels of Ocean City for the arrival of Sharkticon, who was making a rather sad attempt to silently infiltrate the city. The three Mini-Cons formed the Energon Saber, and in Kicker's hands, sent Sharkticon back into the briny deep. Perspective

  • Energon Saber (Energon Class, 2004)
  • Takara ID number: SC-08
Part of the first wave of Energon, Scattor is a retooling of the Armada Jetstorm mold, transforming into a Cybertronic plane. He can also form the middle-blade for the combined Energon Saber sword. As his head is a tiny nub of translucent plastic, extreme care should be taken when transforming Scattor to prevent snapping off his ears as you fold his chest down. Oh, you've already snapped one? Okay, well....
He was only available in an "Energon Class" Mini-Con three-pack with Skyboom and Wreckage.
This toy doubles as the Beast Wars: Uprising character Skat-or. This mold was redecoed to make Quantum and Cybertron Thrust. The original version of this mold was used to make Mad.
