Shamble was a long-time member of the Decepticons, having followed Megatron since his time fighting in the gladiatorial pits. While conversing with some of the other workers at the factory located in Sector 12, Shamble spotted Megatron approaching their workplace and rushed to meet him. Despite being hobbled by a missing leg that was replaced with a sub-par prosthetic, Shamble excitedly offered to give him a tour of the facility, which the Decepticon commander accepted. While showing Megatron around, Shamble admitted that the factory's output had fallen behind but remained cheery and confident that their productivity would double once they got an influx of new workers and supplies.

Shamble's sunny disposition was shaken when his leader demanded he be shown the factory's infirmary, where the vast majority of the workforce was laid up. Shamble tried to accentuate the positive, claiming that he and the few remaining workers were doing their best to make up for deficit in manpower. As Megatron departed Sector 12, Shamble saw him off, waving goodbye to his commander even as he was far off into the distance. Unfortunately, the true purpose of Megatron's visit soon became apparent as he ordered Sector 12 shut down and all of the factory's workers killed in service of Project Nemesis. Shamble protested against his fate, claiming he was a loyal Decepticon, but was ultimately shoved into a chamber where his spark was harvested and converted into energon by Barricade. Earthrise episode 1

When the Allspark was returned to the Temple of the Allspark on Cybertron by Bumblebee, Shamble was among the Transformer spirits who witnessed Elita-1 strike down Galvatron and Nemesis Prime before finally reuniting with the Allspark. Kingdom episode 6

Notes

[edit]
  • Shamble's character model is based off of Refraktor's, recolored to a dark green and with his left leg replaced with a pegleg from the knee down.
  • Shamble is never identified by name in the cartoon, only being identified as such in the subtitles and episode credits for Earthrise episode 1, and then later in The Art and Making of Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy.
