Toys

Cyberverse

[edit]

  • Skrapnel (Tiny Turbo Changer, 2019)
  • Series: 3
  • Bag code: A2
Released in the third series of blindpacked Cyberverse Tiny Turbo Changers, Skrapnel is a soft-plastic mini-figure that changes from robotic stag beetle to robot and back in a few simple steps. Despite being a Cyberverse toy, his design is actually based on the Generations Legends-class toy of his Generation 1 predecessor Shrapnel.
Series 3 was ultimately not released in the US, appearing only in Canada, Germany, Norway and Taiwan. While several items from this wave were re-released in Series 5, which did have a (brief) US run, Skrapnel was not one of them.

Notes

[edit]
  • Shrapnel's design is heavily inspired by his Generation 1 counterpart (specifically the Legends Class toy mold introduced in Generations) but with minor stylistic tweaks, namely his visor being replaced by traditional eyes. Much like that original rendition, he has electric powers.
  • Out of the Insecticon trio, Shrapnel is the only one to have dialogue and a robot mode. He is also the only one to appear in the toyline.
