[edit]

As an Autobot from Cloud World, Skids was part of an inter-dimensional police force that kept the peace throughout the multiverse, while collecting excess energy to ensure the welfare of SARA, the super-robotic being that allowed them access to other dimensions. When the Autobots' city of Metropolis came under attack from the Decepticons of the Underground, Skids was stationed at the Autobots' Directorate of Operations to safeguard it as part of a garrison. But the Decepticons' rampage across multiple city districts had turned out to be nothing more than a distraction from their real scheme. Shockwave and others forced their way into the Autobots' headquarters, catching the guards by surprise, and managed to make their escape with SARA in tow. After the Decepticons' retreat to the Underground, Optimus Prime called a meeting. Skids personally apologized for failing in his responsibility of protecting SARA. Optimus, however, took the blame onto himself for not having formulated a better strategy against the Decepticons. Optimus decided to head into the Underground himself to retrieve SARA. The other Autobots, unwilling to let their beloved leader go alone in this venture, all volunteered to join him. Resolve

Some time later, Skids confronted the fallen Decepticons after a mighty battle that served as a distraction for Megatron's rescue. Skids attempted to interrogate Astrotrain about their exact plans, but the Autobots were forced to retreat by a mysterious airborne fleet bombarding them. Fury

Notes

[edit]
  • Skids's toy representation is hard to pin down, as there were no contemporary Skids toys in Japan at the time of Cloud; the closest match is Thrilling 30 Skids, released only in Hasbro markets.
