Skip was amongst the Decepticons who escaped from Garrus-9 in the company of Shockwave. Like the rest of Shockwave's companions, he was on The List, and had been intended to be handed over to the Decepticon Justice Division in exchange for the number one wanted member being allowed to go free, a deal Tarn rejected. The Ties That Bind Following the end of the Great War, he was under Deathsaurus's command when Deathsaurus allied with Tarn and the DJD to kill Megatron on Necroworld. Alas, poor Skip. I knew him, Ambus-io.

Later Rodimus presented Skip's corpse as a means of getting the stranded Lost Light crew off of Necroworld, as Skip's alternate mode was an astropod, and recent events in the Functionist Universe had demonstrated that the use of forced mass displacement would allow him to be made large enough to ferry most of the crew. When Rodimus asked for guesses as to what Skip turned into, Swerve suggested that he turned into a ("purple, because Decepticon") wormhole, because suggesting he turned into a [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Skip (container)|{{#if:skip|skip|Skip (container)}}]] would be beneath even Swerve's sense of humor.

After being enlarged and manually transformed into his ship-form, Team Rodimus departed Necroworld aboard Skip. After Megatron Even mass-displaced, they found his alt mode's confines quite cramped, all the more so when the mass displacement started wearing off. Sardines

To survive, the inexplicably lucid Ten directed the crew to modify Skip's engines to survive travel via the Warren. Mid-transit, however, the mass displacement gave out, forcing the crew to "abandon Skip", whereupon they were exposed to the fatal ravages of super-compressed space. Metastasis
