Snarl is a Decepticon-allied Mini-Con from the Generation 1 and Unicron Trilogy continuity families.

Snarl is a member of the Predator Attack Team, a trio of vicious robotic hunting animals who are always on the prowl. There is little he enjoys more than attacking those who are weaker than himself, toying with them for as long as possible until finally terminating them. He views the whole exercise as little more than a game, and will sulk for days if he's forced to give up one of his "playmates." He's not opposed to taking on larger opponents either; Snarl often fantasizes about bringing down bulks by himself... It's just that figuring out how to actually do the deed has proved difficult.<ref>Snarl's profile in Club magazine #18</ref>

Snarl's nature varies. In some universes Snarl is male, but one known version is female and is named Snarl-blast.

The members of the Predator Attack Team were among Mini-Cons created by the Last Autobot to clean up Cybertron so that the Autobots could return home, and their vicious, downright psychopathic personalities made them perfect for the job of destroying the Mutants of the Underworld. During one outing with Broadside, Snarl fought with the Mutant Meathook, though he was disappointed when his stoic teammate Dreadwing delivered the final blow before he could have any fun. After laughing at the sight of Overbite playing with the remains of another victim, he was met by the Dinobots and was taken aback by their leader's confidence. The New World

Beast Wars: Uprising

Snarl-blast was a member of Psycho-Orb's "Angry Asteroids" unit in the Resistance army. She fell before the zirconium gas pumped through the vents in the High Pavilion of Iacon during the siege. Derailment

Part of the second wave of Classics Mini-Cons, Snarl transforms into a robotic tiger. His tiger jaw opens to reveal a tiny blaster inside. He has a "Powerlinx" socket on his right flank (left shoulder in robot mode) that allows him to attach to larger toys with compatible Powerlinx plugs.
He was only available as part of the Predator Attack Team, packaged with his teammates Dreadwing and Overbite.
