The Solar Cannon (太陽砲 Taiyōhō) is the Autobots' superweapon in development.

[edit]After taking Brainstorm and Tatsuya hostage, Scorponok demanded the Autobots bring the blueprints for the Solar Cannon to Cyber in exchange for their comrades. Not willing to just turn over a superweapon to the Decepticons, Rodimus Prime sent a trio of young Headmasters to rescue them.
On the planet, Scorponok continued to demand the blueprints, but was defeated by the Headmasters' Master Typhoon attack. The Young Headmaster Warrior Trio Arrive!
