The second-largest toy of Cyberworld's Energon Surge subline imprint, Soundwave Deep Sea Explorer is a 9-inch figure that transforms into a sea monster submarine in 3 steps, and is armed with 2 flexible tentacles, a tentacle grabber claw, and an opening mouth in alt mode, all of which can be used to capture Cyber Changer toys.

Due to being way too big to fit inside Bumblebee Power Spark's chest, Soundwave Deep Sea Explorer omits having any glow-in-the-dark paint on his body, instead coming with a detachable glow-in-the-dark mask that can be "powered up" by Bumblebee Power Spark separately.
