- The South-North Caves are a geographical feature from the Generation 1 continuity family.
The South-North Caves (南北空洞 Nanboku Kūdō) are a gnash in the ground on the northern hemisphere of Daros. They provide an excellent hiding place.

[edit]After the Decepticons sought to kill all prisoners to keep the secret of Scorponok's transtector's weakness, Tekna fled and hid in the South-North Caves. There, he sent a SOS signal, which was picked up on by the Autobots in Battleship Maximus.
There, the Autobots were pointed in the direction to the South-North Caves by Punch, who had been infiltrating the Decepticons. Inside the Caves, they found Tekna, but before he could utter Scorponok's weak spot, he was shot by Weirdwolf. Tekna was taken to Battleship Maximus for treatment and Weirdwolf ran after battling.
