Spike Witwicky is a human from the Transformers Animated continuity family.
"Hey! What're you doin'?! We're partners!"

Spike Witwicky is the dedicated husband of Carly and the father of Daniel and Nancy. He can often be seen with his wife and/or children. He or his wife or possibly both of them are employed at Sumdac Systems. He has passed his impeccable fashion sense on to his son. He tends to get quite agitated when he sees that an ambulance is driving itself. Particularly if he's riding in it at the time. Crazy organics.

In a segment about the wonders of modern society and the impact that robots have had upon it, Spike was seen with his wife and son purchasing some sort of bunless wiener of dubious origin from a robot vendor cart. Transform and Roll Out

When Powell Motorworks released "The Bulkhead", a vehicle cashing in on the popularity of the Autobot it was named after, Spike and Carly bought one, possibly in preparation for their growing family as Carly was about four months pregnant. The family somehow confused their car with the Autobot Bulkhead while loading a huge widescreen TV into him, distracting Bulkhead from the stakeout he was trying to conduct. Months later, Spike flagged down a passing ambulance because his wife was about to give birth. After being drawn into a chase scene, armed robbery, and giant robot fight, he opted to take a taxi instead. Garbage In, Garbage Out

In a virtual Detroit created by Soundwave, Spike and Daniel were on the bus which the humanized Autobots took to Sumdac Tower. Human Error, Part I Back in the real world, he and his family were at one of the mayor's speeches when the Sound Wave toys mesmerized the population of Detroit.   • In the credits for "Garbage In, Garbage Out", Spike is listed simply as "Husband".
  • Spike's full name, Spike Witwicky, is handwritten on his character model. The family's names were subsequently confirmed in the DVD commentary track for "Garbage In, Garbage Out".
