Spy Games
Spy Games was a planned five issue miniseries by IDW Publishing that was submitted by Nick Roche following his earlier Last Stand of the Wreckers. While ultimately unpublished, several elements of it were used in Roche's later title Sins of the Wreckers.

While the series pitch was approved by the then-current editor Andy Schmidt, and was originally intended to run alongside the 2009 ongoing series, it was not published before Schmidt stepped down from his position in 2011. The following editor John Barber also attempted to publish the title, during the start of IDW's Phase Two. Due to this, several characters who would have headlined Spy Games had little presence in the first two years of IDW's main titles. In time, the series was eventually abandoned.<ref>Sins of The Wreckers TPB, page 124, Original Sin</ref>
The only public details available are several pieces of concept art, and an excerpt of the pitch, both of which were included in the trade collection of Sins of the Wreckers.
The plot centred on a squad of "superpowered" Autobots, consisting of Mirage, Windcharger, Blurr, and Hubcap, who would be led by the non-powered but experienced Special Ops soldier Jazz. Also involved would be the team's sponsor Ultra Magnus and the traumatised Wrecker leader Springer. Magnus would have founded the team to investigate the threat posed by what appeared to be a rogue group of Decepticons, with access to various types of advanced stealth technology. These include cloaking devices, and the ability to disguise themselves as organic creatures.
The Decepticon group's primary figures include Banzai-Tron (having abandoned his position as head of the Decepticon Secret Services) and Tarantulas. Their overall goal was to covertly remove all Ore-13 from Earth, to render the planet tactically worthless. Their plans also involved "dimensional pathways" and the Noisemaze. The Autobot group would have come into conflict with them during the course of their investigations.
Verity Carlo and Stakeout would also have appeared. A sequence described in the pitch sees them fighting off the "Bio-Con" Polar Claw. While they do manage to defeat the Decepticon, his body dematerialises before it can be analysed.
