Star Trailer
Born from the Star Power of the Silver Matrix, the Star Trailer (スタートレーラー Sutā Torērā) is the autonomous support drone, trailer, and power armor utilized by the interdimensional warrior Star Convoy during his time in the mysterious world of the Primus Vanguard.
It does its best, but according to Star Convoy it's no Roller. Poor thing.

The Vok of the next universe set loose a Novaroid swarm on the Blue Planet as part of their efforts to alter the timeline. Super Megatron comic 2 In response, Primus plucked Optimus Prime and Galvatron from 2011 of the G1 World into orbit, gifted Optimus the mysterious Silver Matrix and tasked them with sorting the problem. Optimus absorbed the Star Power within to upgrade himself into Star Convoy, bringing the Star Trailer into existence. He and the Star Trailer then combined for the first time and made short work of the Novaroids by combining the Silver Matrix with his ion blaster to create the Big Bang Cannon. Star Convoy comic
The Star Trailer socked a Gulf drone into oblivion in its power armor configuration before recombining with Star Convoy. Seacons comic 2
Later on the surface, Optimus decombined with the Star Trailer and directed it to ferry civilians to safety while he kept the Seacons busy. He lamented the loss of his third component in the Unicron War, always a helpful friend in these situations. The Star Trailer later proved successful in its evacuation! Seacons comic 5
Optimus rode the Star Trailer as a jet board to do battle with the now similarly upgraded Super Megatron's jet mode, only for a lucky fusion cannon blast to send the two flying. Super Megatron comic 1
A timely save by none other than King Poseidon gave Optimus the determination to summon the Star Trailer once more and recombine into Star Convoy to do battle with the twice-more-upgraded Megatron Omega. Super Megatron comic 2

- Part of Generations Selects Star Convoy, the Star Trailer is a retool of Power of the Primes Optimus Prime's unnamed trailer, converting from a G1 Optimus Prime-inspired, uh, trailer, to power armor retooled to evoke the original Star Convoy toy.
- It features new lower legs, head, upper shoulders, and waist parts. Most of the armor's grey parts (especially the arms) are now remolded in red plastic to be more accurate to Star Convoy's character model, though there are a few sacrifices leaving some of the red patches on the Star Trailer. In another change, a sticker sheet for user application is included to evoke Prime's classic trailer stripes in lieu of the Power of the Primes trailer's factory applied stickers. The star-shaped piece introduces an additional step to access the matrix chamber and is prone to popping off from the chest if not transformed correctly.
- This toy was released exclusively through TakaraTomy Mall and, thanks to brand unification, Hasbro Pulse and other online retailers in the United States and Canada. It is the first Selects figure to be developed primarily by TakaraTomy.
