Suzanne Weyn (born 6 July 1955) is an American writer best known for her science fiction and fantasy novels for children. To Transformers fans she is best known for her work on the Marvel coloring book line. Outside of Transformers fiction she has written for the Disney's Little Mermaid, Adventure with Barbie/Barbie Sweethearts, Forever Angels, Wildwood Stables and Surviving Southside series among others. Her novel The Bar Code Tattoo was nominated for the German government's Jugendliteraturepreis as well as the American Library Association's Quick Pick for Reluctant Young Adult Readers. Her sister, Regina Weyn, also produced Transformers material as a freelancer for Marvel.[1]
