Sword of Fury

If he was a Predacon, it would be the Sword of Furry!

When Scourge runs into battle, he's often seen to whip out his Sword of Fury, a mighty crimson blade which can slice metal and block laser fire. Sometimes it can also burn with a powerful flame of energy. If he could just find an Autobot with a sword, he'd be able to have a proper sword fight.

Thundercats, HOOOOOOOO!

Scourge first unleashed his Sword of Fury in combat with Side Burn and Prowl. After swiping at them ineffectually with them, he resorted to his barrage attack instead. It was similarly ineffective against Optimus Prime who managed to avoid its every swing, and finally knocked it from Scourge's hand by shoulder charging him. Commandos He finally managed to make contact with it, striking Optimus repeatedly during the battle on Montrose Island. Volcano During a second bout, Scourge whipped out the Sword of Fury and swung at Optimus, only to be accidentally blasted by Movor. Attack from Outer Space

While on traffic patrol, while trying to convince the Autobots that the Decepticons had defected, Scourge threatened a careless driver with his sword. Later, he chased Sky-Byte with it, but only succeeded in cleaving the rear-end off a sports car. The Test During a fight at Crestline power plant, Scourge charged Rail Racer with his sword, but was knocked on his can by a pulse laser. The Fish Test

"I have fury!"

Scourge used his Sword of Fury against a powered-up Prowl, and to his surprise, was defeated, leading him to wonder how the Autobot Brothers seemed more powerful than usual. Later when Ultra Magnus joined the fight and dealt Scourge a series of savage blows, Scourge swung at him with the sword, but missed. Power to Burn! When Scourge found that Fortress Maximus had mysteriously disappeared from the cavern beneath Metro City, he promised to carve Optimus into scraplets with his sword. Optimus was able to catch the blade of the sword in his hands, though the force of Scourge's attack pushed him backwards along the ground. The arrival of Ultra Magnus allowed the forming of Omega Prime, who easily dodged Scourge's attack and forced the Decepticon into a retreat. Koji Gets His Wish

The Sword of Fury didn't help Scourge stop the Autobots from getting away with an O-Part, A Friendly Contest and Ultra Magnus blasted it out of his hand while he was demanding the Autobots turn over Cerebros, Maximus Emerges so it's perhaps not surprising that he stopped using it once he began attempting to control Fortress Maximus. It wouldn't appear again until the Autobots led the Decepticons into a trap. He swung it thrice at Omega Prime, only to be laid flat by one punch from the Autobot. Surprise Attack! The sword was later blasted from his hands by Side Burn, as he charged at the fallen Optimus. Presumably it was confiscated from him when he was taken to the asteroid prison colony. The Final Battle
