[edit]I'm not sure if we should go to the bother of considering this a separate character from RiD's T-AI. She does, after all, appear on the multiversal "Alt2Day" page. - Chris McFeely 11:31, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- Right. Being a character in ALT2Day is almost a guarantee that you're NOT from the Animated continuity family. --ItsWalky 11:33, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- But her name is "Ai." Not an acronym? Is she really human? Does T-AI play Ai in the advertisement? - Starfield 12:04, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- Being from the multiverse and all, it could be that she IS Ai-chan, the T-AI from the Car Robots continuity (as opposed to the Robots In Disguise Continuity). If this were the case, I would put her on T-AI's page, being from the same multiverse cluster as the RID character. ----Ascendron 12:35, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- I forgot her Japanese name was Ai-chan. How come that's not on her page? So she's a G1 character. - Starfield 13:06, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- It is on her page. I would tend to agree with merging this with T-AI's page. --abates 16:22, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- Funny, I would merge it with Ai Kuruma's page. --Khajidha 16:33, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- I actually thought this was T-AI until I went to Bill Forster's page and it just said "Ai", so I assumed it was a new character. I just put it under "Animated" because I didn't know where else. Feel free to merge with either. --NCZ 16:34, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- Although I could see the argument being made for her being Ai Kuruma... considering she looks exactly like and has the same name as Ai-chan, she's more likely to be Ai-chan... And the thought that Ai Kuruma got kicked off the police force and now has to dress up to sell cars is just too depressing. --Ascendron 16:44, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- I think we'd be jumping the gun with a merge. Autobot computers are not known for their tendency to sell insurance, regardless of what language they're in, and I'm not entirely sure why Ai Kuruma has come up at all. --Andrusi 17:05, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- I think she's just Car Robots Ai-chan. She's drawn indistinguishably from her, and she's certainly not drawn in an Animated-universe style. (Meaning, regardless of who she is, she's definitely not "from the Animated continuity" or whatever like the top of the page claims.) --ItsWalky 17:11, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- Oh, Allspark Almanac! How could such a wonderful book be the source of such strife! *sobs*Seriously though, my main argument towards the merge: If it looks like a duck, and people call it a duck, it's probably a duck. --Ascendron 17:12, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- Except for when we're talking about the other T-AI doppelganger, of course. --ItsWalky 17:14, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- That only looks somewhat similar like a duck, and nobody in-fiction has called her a duck. So she might've only had the possibility of being a duck if authorial intent had called her a duck, which it didn't. --Ascendron 17:17, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- Are we sure she's a real person in-universe, and not just a mascot? Like Jack, the "owner" of Jack-In-A-Box? -- Semysane 19:59, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- Also very possible, I would say. - Chris McFeely 20:00, 23 February 2011 (EST)
- If not, I'd want to know the backstory on how Car Robots Ai got involved with selling insurance. Seems a waste of a good tactical artificial intelligence. - Starfield 15:50, 23 March 2011 (EDT)
