War of the Waves

[edit]

Since the War of the Waves 2-pack is explicitly labelled "Cybertron Series" within the Universe franchise, it isn't this character. Khajidha 10:34, 30 November 2009 (EST)

Ha

[edit]

I have no great objection to it existing as it is, but this page is a hilarious dumping ground of unrelated guys called Air Raid, not that any of them have much to say about them. -LV 13:08, 16 June 2011 (EDT)

Well if there is nothing to say about them there is no way to distinguish that they are unrelated, therefore it is simpler to assume that all of these movieverse Air Raids are the same guy. --Khajidha 13:12, 16 June 2011 (EDT)
He agrees. He's just saying that it's funny. Don't gotta pitch it to him. --ItsWalky 13:19, 16 June 2011 (EDT)
Still, I think having four independently-created incarnations of Air Raid on a page warrants a note. If only to point out the hilarity and the fact that people aren't very creative with names. —Interrobang 13:51, 16 June 2011 (EDT)
I think that the Movie Air Raid is also the green DOTM Air Raid while the ROTF superion pack is the same as the gray DOTM Air Raid. I mean look at them, green & some yellow & black in the middle(movie), green & some black & yellow in the middle (DOTM new mold), then there's gray & red with some green (ROTF superion pack), then gray & red with some green (DOTM first mold) User:Jazzerprime 8:22, 22 December 2011

Last line

[edit]

Is the last line of this article supposed to be "boom boom SEXY TIME"?--Primo 16:18, 7 August 2011 (EDT)

It's a silly comment on what "Airlaid" might refer to. --Andrusi 19:22, 16 September 2011 (EDT)

Air Raid

[edit]

Since I'm not going to get into a revert war until we both get blocked for two weeks, I'm just going to propose that "is clearly a different character" outranks "has no obvious relationship except sharing G1 namesake's tech spec" here, and furthermore that all "same tech spec numbers" has ever gotten us on the wiki is nonsense like the Evac page merge or Movie and Goldbox Payloads being declared the same character. Also I propose that if you're going to fuck with a page, you actually make sure it doesn't contradict the notes, and also that you learn what "repurpose" means on this wiki. -LV 16:26, 16 November 2012 (EST)

Yeah, that was pretty terrible re-integration, considering the mess of lies it makes the Notes section. And again, yes, that's not what repurposing means. And we split this page for a reason. Don't merge it back without convincing us. --ItsWalky 16:45, 16 November 2012 (EST)
I won't fight an executive decision, especially one that draws out so much passive aggressive insulting of long-time editors, but no reason was given when the page was split. Not on talk pages or in edit notes. Just blanked without a word as to why. --Carrion 18:15, 16 November 2012 (EST)
You're right about there being no discussion here (although there clearly is a "word as to why"; the reason is that he is a different guy). I must have had the conversation elsewhere. That's on me, and I apologize for claiming it was discussed here. -LV 19:52, 16 November 2012 (EST)
