Annie Halfacree now works under her married name, should the article be changed to redirect to Annie Parkhouse or left as the name she used during her work on Transformers?

I'd say create a redirect from Parkhouse to Halfacree and make it clear that she now uses the Parkhouse name. Khajidha 11:10, 4 February 2010 (EST)

That seems... odd. I think it should be the other way around. This is a "real world" article and her real world name is now Parkhouse. - Starfield 15:17, 4 February 2010 (EST)
Don't we usually just go by how someone is credited the majority of the time? I mean, we have a ton of nicknames instead of full first names, and some usernames instead of real names, because that's the way those people are always credited. --Jeysie 15:35, 4 February 2010 (EST)
I think nicknames are different because they would still apply. They would still probably answer to that name. You wouldn't call her "Annie Halfacree" anymore. A username would be like a pseudonym, an intentional pen name different than their real name. I think that is different, too. If it helps any, the redirect page can also have categories on it so both names would appear in the lists. I'm not entirely sure it should be moved, but it does seem weird. - Starfield 15:54, 4 February 2010 (EST)
P.S. TFWiki's policy page isn't entirely clear on the matter. "Naming: The person's actual name, given in the traditional Western order: given name first, family name second." - Starfield 15:59, 4 February 2010 (EST)
Well, you wouldn't call her that in person, but that is how she's been been credited in TF work. I'd say just leave the page where it is, and maybe move the note about her married name up to a second bolded name. Something like "Annie Halfacree (now Annie Parkhouse)".
I mean, it's entirely possible there's other female TF creators that got married at some point and changed their names that we haven't heard about. Why make organizing things more complicated (and based on keeping tabs on gossip?) --Jeysie 16:37, 4 February 2010 (EST)
I agree. Articles names should reflect TF credits. If the person has changed their name since then, or is known by other names, that can be noted in the text, and redirects can be created. --KilMichaelMcC 17:44, 4 February 2010 (EST)
That was exactly my reasoning for creating the redirect page> Question, should the categories be added to the redirect page (per Starfield's suggestion) or not? Khajidha 19:03, 4 February 2010 (EST)
