"* As B'Boom had already been well established in The Gathering, when Apache was set to appear, Don Figueroa wisely adjusted Apache's hairstyle into a mohawk, and had the shoulder cannons retracted, to distinguish him from B'Boom. This is especially apparent in the scene where both have to help secure an Angolmois-infected Razorbeast. This was not the only time a design adjustment was necessary."

This isn't completely correct, as both have a Mohawk. It's even molded on the actual toy, the only difference between them in the comic is the slight colour difference and the retracted cannons.Dead Metal 09:49, 22 July 2009 (EDT)
