Talk:Articulation

I've just made a substantial revision to this page. I am inclined to move it to "posability", and have articulation redirect there. I think it is difficult to discuss the two concepts seperately, so they should be covered by a single article, and I think posability is the more general term of the two. Does anybody else have an opinion on this? --Steve-o 21:01, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'm inclined to disagree, because it's long seemed to me that "articulation" is the more commonly used word. --TVsGrady 23:49, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
- First off, thanks a TON Steve-o. You pretty much covered everything that I was trying to get at when i started this article. But as far as moving it, i'd leave it and have posability redirect here instead. "Posability" is a fairly self-explanitory term - the ability of something to be posed. More often, newer fans would search for articulation, though it is understandable that they might seach for posability simply on the merit of not knowing the other word. Still, i agree they are almost but not quite interchangable, and are hard to discuss without eachother. Dracokanji 05:51, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- This would be a good time to note that "posability" isn't actually a word. It's another fan term, although not one coined by the TF community. Articulation is definitely what this needs to stay. Plus, posability gets stuck with two spellings- "poseability" and "posability".--MCRG 07:02, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
non articulated TFs?
[edit]I would say that Battletrap might count. All he can do is bow at the waist, which is about what Under-3 can manage. Also: YOUR MOM IS SUPER ARTICULATED. -hx 17:39, 6 April 2007 (UTC), I LOVE YOU ROB.
