Comparing his package to other G2 packages, on his package "Watch" is where the name is on other packages, so I think his name might actually be "Watch." - Starfield 19:29, 7 September 2009 (EDT)

For many years, the only source i had told me that my silver-gray G1 Omnibot toy was named Overdrive, and in at least one of Armada's pack-in comics/toy catalogs, the Mini-Cons Dirt Boss and Downshift had their names reversed. (i'm pretty sure i've seen an erroneous G2 cross-sell, too--other than this one--but i can't find or remember it just now.)

i think the name Watch makes a LOT more sense for this character--it's his alternate mode AND a military term (as in, "You take the first watch" meaning "You take the first shift on guard duty"), whereas it's totally impractical and unlikely to have someone with the same name as a faction or subgroup. ;-)

I have unmerged this. The fact that Vector Prime was Autobot in one reality does not preclude Autobot being a separate character in another. --abates (talk) 06:05, 8 January 2016 (EST)
