Shouldn't this page just be at Omega Delta? --Riptide (talk) 17:36, 26 July 2017 (EDT)

I dunno, is "Omega Delta" a name or a designation? Saix (talk) 17:52, 26 July 2017 (EDT)
Is there particularly a difference? It just feels kind of like having a page at "Autobot Leader Optimus Prime", to me. Hell, this page doesn't use "Autobot Shuttle" once, not even in the opening paragraph. --Riptide (talk) 17:58, 26 July 2017 (EDT)
Well, like "the Thirteen" vs "Autobot Shuttle #13". I don't remember how it was ever phrased in the show, so I can't help in that aspect. Saix (talk) 18:11, 26 July 2017 (EDT)
I don't think moving this page will improve its content or accessibility at all. There is no benefit to doing so, other than potentially satisfying a technicality on naming conventions. Leave it where it is. --Xaaron (talk) 18:28, 26 July 2017 (EDT)
Nobody is going to search for we already have an Autobot shuttle article, and it makes no sense to have "Autobot Shuttle" here because it's an adjective, not the name of the shuttle. Move it. --DannyBoy (talk) 18:47, 26 July 2017 (EDT)
I agree it's a minor, somewhat picayune even, alteration, but, well...
The difference between the right word and the almost-right word is really quite important. It's the difference between the lightning and the lightning-bug.{{#if:|{{{quote2}}}}}{{#if:Mark Twain|Mark Twain{{#if:|, {{{3}}}|}}|}}
We're not Hasbro, and we don't need to title pages like "Autobot Wheeljack". So, in short: this should be moved. - TBR (talk) 20:11, 26 July 2017 (EDT)

FWIW, Blackarachnia called it "Autobot Shuttle Omega Delta." For encyclopedic purposes I could see the value in keeping it. It's the difference between "F-16" and "General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon," or "Enterprise" and "USS Enterprise." --Thylacine 2000 (talk) 21:12, 26 July 2017 (EDT)

We've got articles for "Ark" and "Ark-19", but nobody's suggesting we move the latter to just "19". See also Subsector Hooks or Grid Zeiram. And "Omega Delta" is such a generic term, not clearly referring to a ship or specific thing, removing the "Autobot Shuttle" from the front would actually make it more obscure and harder to identify in searches. --Xaaron (talk) 21:17, 26 July 2017 (EDT)
Yes. I despise the size this talk page has already grown to discussing this. This is how it's referred to in dialogue. There's no advantage to moving it. - Chris McFeely (talk) 21:19, 26 July 2017 (EDT)
If it's actually referred to this way in dialogue, then I stand corrected. -TBR (talk) 21:39, 26 July 2017 (EDT)
The shuttle is only referred to by name ONCE, in which it is "Autobot Shuttle Omega Delta". The words "Omega Delta" are never again used to refer to the shuttle either by name or without the "Autobot Shuttle" part. The words "Autobot shuttle" are used more than once in multiple media to refer to the ship as a general descriptor, but its name was only ever spoken one time, and with all four words. Leave this article's title as it is. --Sabrblade (talk) 01:26, 27 July 2017 (EDT)
