Talk:Bad Spark
Energon Discharge
[edit]In response to Steve-O asking for sources, http://www.bwtf.com/bw/tvshow/episodes/seasontwo/badspark/ Comment #2. Most people seem to take Ben Yee's word as the Jesus of Transformersdom, anyway. I dunno enough about it, honestly. --DrSpengler 04:18, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you. I *do* take Ben's word as "true" when it comes to behind the scenes BW stuff. I will re-add the note to the Transmetal article, where it makes more sense to have it, and refer to that article here. --Steve-o 23:02, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
Films Category
[edit]I noticed Rotty just removed the Films category from this episode. Since it was released theatrically in Japan (even though it was originally produced for TV) shouldn't it qualify for the Films category? Same with the Cutting Edge? --DrSpengler 00:35, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- Bad Rotty! --ItsWalky 00:39, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- "This episode was released theatrically in Japan as the second segment in the Beast Wars Special Super Lifeform Transformers." That doesn't make Bad Spark a film, it was just a part of one. When you go into Films through the category tree, it looks like Transformers have had 6 theatrical films. Beast Wars Special is a film, and I don't mind calling Lio Convoy in Imminent Danger! a film since the whole thing was produced for theatres, but Bad Spark by itself totally is not. --Rotty 03:31, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- No sort of consensus was reached for this? I agree with Rotty on the point of Bad Spark not being included in the "Films" category, but I think by the same logic nor should "Lio Convoy in Imminent Danger!". If needed, both of the segment pages can link to the Beast Wars Special page. --Sntint 05:45, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Killing animals
[edit]Should we note Silverbolt, a heroic protective figure, killing a tiger? It's listed on the page concerning Death but not on the episode's page, why?Stevo 19:04, 3 February 2010 (EST)
- He was defending Blackarachnia from attack, and he "killed" the tiger by rolling over a cliff edge with it and barely grabbing to a vine himself (being unable to fly at that moment). There was little he could have realistically done otherwise. The mention on Death is for completionist purposes, but aside from noting that Silverbolt isn't Tigatron (expressing no regret or remorse on the tiger's demise) it's not that notable. You could stick it in, but not as a note of how Silverbolt isn't heroic. 82.95.254.249 09:21, 3 May 2010 (EDT)
- Silverbolt also kills billions of microbes every time he breathes or moves! --ItsWalky 09:37, 3 May 2010 (EDT)
- Actually, even considering only the numbers involved... no, let's not go there, before I sound like Perceptor. 82.95.254.249 12:12, 4 May 2010 (EDT)

Crab Legs
[edit]I think we should mention in the continuity error notes that in the flash back of Primal, Protoform X had no legs but one we see his crashed stasis pod, he has them. How could he when the pod would of went offline automaticaly when it crashed into the energon?
Animation error
[edit]"In one scene what appears to be a drawing of Silverbolt's torso stands behind Blackarachnia instead of his CG model." - anyone have any idea what scene that refers to? I've just watched the episode and didn't notice it, and it seems far too vague to leave as is. LiamK (talk) 15:39, 27 March 2017 (EDT)
